Scope: PH52W Coolant Heaters / 5kW Engine Heaters
Complaint:
Heater leaking coolant.
Resolution:
See also TB-210204 Coolant Leaks.
It has been discovered that in some cases the PH52W heater can have premature failure of “O” Ring seals which can result in coolant leaking.
A seal kit has been developed which includes all required seals for this heater.
These seals are made from Viton which improves their ability to withstand higher temperatures while main- taining their sealing properties.

Contains:
1 of Heat Exchanger “O” Ring
2 of Temperature Sensor “O” Rings
2 of Inlet /Outlet Port “O” Rings
Corrective Action:
Future production units will be upgraded with high temperature “O” Ring Seal materials.
