P25A & P55A Operating Switch Upgrade - TB250401

Scope: P25A and P55A Gasoline Fired Air Heaters


Complaint: Upgraded switch now available for gasoline fired air heaters.


Resolution:

This Technical Bulletin provides instructions to connect the P65S-X389 Operating Switch on older model P25A and P55A heaters.

The P65D-X389 operating switch is an upgrade to previous versions.

It is possible to use this switch on previous versions of the P25A and P55A heaters.

However, the harness connections have been changed so the harness connections will need to be modified to make this possible.

To modify the harnesses, remove the existing connectors and make direct connections using butt connectors by matching the wire colours as follows:
