P21A-T802 Drop In Heater Wiring Connections To Espar Harness

Scope: P21A-T802 Drop-In Heater and all other P21A heaters P41A can also be modified to work.

Complaint:

The P21A heater is designed to be able to be installed using an Espar D2/D4 wiring harness. However, an explanation is required to show how P21A heater matches with Espar wiring harness.

Resolution:

This Technical Bulletin provides explanation of how wiring of P21A Heater matches to Espar wiring harness.

The P21A is designed to easily be installed as a drop in replacement for an Espar Airtronic D2 heater. This allows installers the option to either use the wiring harness provided with the PHP installation kit or simply plug into an Espar wiring harness to utilize existing wiring.

Before installing the heater, the installer should check the wiring to confirm it matches the following;

NOTE: Heater wire colours vary depending upon production models. Check heater serial number to see what version of heater you have.
